God drives...

What is the driving force of my life?

Materialism?
I always have an eye on designer items, there's always a goal to get one of them. I used to have the thinking of having all designer items will keep me happy, more important, more higher status. I also realised these are just short term happiness, I get bored of them and then I'm back to square one seeking and looking for my next goal to get.

Need for approval?
For me, I never really bother much about what others think of me. Usually more of what I think of myself, my career, my position and my pay. But I learn today, the key to failure is to try to please everyone.Being controlled by someone is a sure way to miss what is God's purpose for me.

Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters."

Benefits of living a purpose-driven life:
  • Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life
  • Knowing your purpose simiplifies your life
  • Knowing your purpose focuses your life
  • Knowing your purpose motivates your life
  • Knowing your purpose prepares you for eternity
I am not put on earth to be remembered. I am put here to prepare to eternity.

At least I know what to answer to God when he ask
1. What did you do with my son, Jesus Christ?
2. What did you do with what I gave you?

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
(Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

It seems that my life purpose is just to do what pleases God, we shall see if it still stands.

Good night!
