Before we reach Salzburg, I found out Salz means salt while trying to find out if the bottle of white powder-like thingy in front of me is it safe to put into my vege(during cooking). We spend most of our meals outdoor since we don't have a kitchen to cook.
We tried...
- Stayed at Hotel Bristol (an old palace converted to a hotel, its really pretty in there except for the squeaking wood sound as we walk along the corridor)
- Salzburger Nockerln from Cafe Mozart (which taste like crap imo)
- Augustiner Bier and awesome pork
- Sound of Music Tour
- Hehensalzburg Castle Tour (the only reason why I went up there was for the view, per pax 11euro)
- Apple Strudel at Mondsee
- Crayfish Salad
- Chestnut with rum and red wine pear
- Slacked at Hotel Stein for a pot of tea (Cos we were told we can just go up and grab a few good shots of the city at night, end up having to buy a drink =.=)
The lord has been good! We managed to get on to all the 3 trains to Cesky Crumlov with awesome timings even without reserving seats for it.
Thank God.
