Our very first night stay in Turkey is at Gullu Konaklari. It is located at Sirince Koyu No:44, Sirince 35920, Turkey. We had to drive pass the roads of Sirince, without GPS and randomly parking into Sirince only carpark and we look towards the corner of the place. HEY IT'S OUR HOTEL! THANK GOD!
Our home for the next 2 nights. Which adds up to S$440. We paid much more for this prob 20-30% more, as it is still considered their peak season.
This place has this garden theme which is really nice and cozy. Their blooms are quite all over the place. Everywhere you turn, there's like a flower here and flowers there.
They have a little fountain after you walk in through the gate.
They brought us through the waiting area, while they prepare a room for us.
They also served us ice honey drink, which is really refreshing.
While waiting, I went around the lounge area to take a few snaps.
They have quite a nice motif tiles here. Love the patterns and colours.
They have another fountain at the back of the lounge, but this one doesn't have any flowers in it.
Another view of the room, here you can see the fountain at the back.
There are a couple of tables and sofa for you to just hang out in that area, but we didn't use it at all. However at night we do see some other tourists having their dinner there.
Through their olive garden, the guy was guiding us to our room.
Now I know how to spot an olive tree!
I have reached my bed... It's an outdoor setting bed, with the olive trees to get the maximum nature view. With sun getting into your face thats the best part, if you don't to get tanned you can hide yourself into the tiny shady spot. Otherwise its perfect!
Right?
I was just joking.
The view from outside the house.
Inside the house, there's a common living room and kitchen where you can just chill around.
And yes we have reached our bed. I don't know what to expect, the room is quite small, the bed basically filled up almost the whole room leaving little space to walk around. Outside the window there's a balcony to just hang out for smokers I think. Otherwise I think the garden or the daybed is a much better choice.
The toilet is also quite small, they provide some toiletries. However when you take a bath, the water start to flow out from the bathing area near the door of the toilet which is pretty annoying as it's cold water so in the middle of the night when I have to go toilet, I will step into that. It doesn't help when the whole toilet towel that I place there also get all soaked up.
At the walkway, they have a giant mirror, which is bonus for me except that I have to walk out of the room to see my outfit.
They changed the flowers in the lounge/library room, I noticed it when I was passing by to head to the breakfast location.
On the way to breakfast, walking by the flowers, they are all over the place. Not to mention the busy bees at work, they are all over the place too, I have to walk and above hitting them. They usually just mind their own business.
As we walk up the stairs, there's another house. If I had known, I would ask for the rooms here.
The view so calming from the house area!
If you are like me, didn't get a room in that house. There's an area outside where you also can have the view.
At the breakfast area, there's 2 good seating that allows you to face the view. I happened to pick one of them.
I've been waiting to try their Turkish breakfast, I was intending to take every single shot of the food. But when he puts the dishes one by one. I decided to take a video instead.
All laid out! And the waiter also took orders for our eggs.
Breakfast is nice, got to try their different jams, sauces and cheese.
What I like about the hotel:
- Place is made up of restored greek houses
- Nice and cozy
- Staff is nice and helpful, one of the lady even recommended us a restaurant that serve really good food
- Free Wifi
- Good breakfast
- Nice View
What I don't like about the hotel:
- Room was abit small
- Morning no hot water to bathe
- Water flowing out of bathing area
Overall if you happen to want to stay in Sirince, this is still a pretty good place to stay!
Going to do more exploring!
